Dear friends,
I haven’t been posting because I’ve been too busy reading self-help books about clutter and hoarding. You will all be glad to know that I’m not technically a hoarder, yet, because I am technically capable of getting rid of things, including animal waste, which apparently a lot of people cannot. I have a lot to say about those books, but in the meantime nothing is really helping me with the piles, and I’ve tried about 83 approaches. The most effectively solution has been going to sleep, which does eliminate the piles, at least until they appear in my dreams, closing in on me.
Anyway, you can check out or join the Apartment Therapy January Cure here. The first day’s task (yesterday) was to make a list of everything that needs to be done in the apartment, room by room, and highlight the most important or urgent things. Here’s my list:

The second day’s task (today) was to
create an outbox. I had already created an outbox, thanks to some of my self-help (sorry,
self-improvement) books, including Apartment Therapy’s
The Eight Step Home Cure. But the outbox is full. And there’s a pile on top of it. But I’m going to add a bag that needs to be fixed so that I can complete that assignment. I’m doing so awesome so far.
